People of the United States of America,
I write to you because I am worried and to be frank, I am scared. We are on the verge of possibly doing something which could truly cause irreversible damage to this great country of ours.
This week, Mr Obama told us that after he wins he will begin to “FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE” the United States of America. I contend, and if you are honest, I think most of you would agree that there isn’t anything fundamentally wrong with this country. In fact, I truly believe this is the greatest country in the world, even the greatest in the history of the world. We are not perfect, we have our flaws, but this country of ours is built upon the greatest ideals (fundamentals) of freedom and liberty. Our Constitution and Bill of Rights which guarantee us these freedoms is in jeopardy. Obama has shown disdain for both. We are fundamentally sound.
The job of the President is to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, but he has shown that he has the desire to radically alter it and the country so that it reflects his views If he gets elected, he will have not only the majority in Congress behind him, but also the ability to appoint an extremely liberal set of judges at the US district level and possibly the Supreme Court level as well. This would give him the power to make the fundamental changes he desires.
He paints a picture of America as something horrible and that this is the worst time in our history. Wake up people, this is a speed bump. I know people are hurting but this is nothing compared to where we were at the end of the Carter Administration where we had double digit unemployment, interest rates in the high teens, and outlandish gas prices.
He has masked his Radical and Socialistic tendencies with his charisma and moderate talk, but if you look at what he has done and said at other times, it is truly hard to believe anything he says. In fact if you examine closely what he is doing, he is telling you anything necessary to get elected. He follows the doctrine of Saul Alinsky who wrote the Rules of Radicals. Alinsky’s ideas dictate that you do anything necessary to get the power, including lying. He knew that the power lies with the middle class and the best weapon is to get the middle class to turn on itself with this concept of CHANGE. This CHANGE is never clearly defined but Obama is good at getting people excited about it and ready to follow him anywhere. Don’t drink the Kool-Aid.
I can think of a long list of reasons not to elect Mr Obama, including a weakened defense, taxation and spreading the wealth, his Senate voting record or lack thereof (how many times did he vote Present?), inexperience, untrustworthiness, lack of accomplishments, extreme abortion views, etc. but this desire to change us fundamentally is so wrong it makes me cringe.
They (the Democrats, the Obama Campaign and the Mainstream media) have done everything they can to convince you that it’s a done deal, that the election is already won. Well, it isn’t. Get out there and elect John McCain before it’s too late.
